Keeping your VIVE Eagle firmware up to date helps ensure you have the latest features, enhancements, and system improvements available for your smart glasses. Firmware updates are managed through the VIVE Connect app.
Before you begin
Make sure the following requirements are met before checking for updates:
- Your phone is connected to the internet.
- Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Your VIVE Eagle and phone each have at least 20% battery remaining.
- Your phone is not connected to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
- Your VIVE Eagle is connected to VIVE Connect.
Check for available firmware updates
- Connect your VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
- Open VIVE Connect on your phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Update.
If a firmware update is available, a red badge appears next to Update.
