You can continue using VIVE Eagle while it is charging.
Charging does not prevent you from using the glasses' features. You can keep wearing and operating your VIVE Eagle while it is connected to a compatible power source.
Charging VIVE Eagle
VIVE Eagle charges through the magnetic charging cable included with the device. Connect the USB-C end of the cable to a USB charger that provides at least 4.5 watts of power, then attach the magnetic connector to the charging connector on the glasses. The magnetic connector on the cable can be attached to the charging connector on the glasses in either direction.
Using a power bank
You can also charge VIVE Eagle with a compatible power bank. This allows you to continue using the glasses while extending battery life when you're away from a wall outlet. Compatible power banks should provide 5 V / 0.9 A output.
How can I tell if the glasses are charging?
The status LED indicates the charging state:
- Solid pink: Charging while the glasses are not being worn.
- Pink fade pattern: Charging while the glasses are being worn.
- Solid white: Fully charged while the glasses are not being worn.
- White fade pattern: Fully charged while the glasses are being worn.
