Learn about video recording duration limits, default recording length, and storage considerations when capturing videos with VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses, a wearable AI smart glasses device designed for hands-free photo and video capture.
VIVE Eagle lets you capture hands-free videos from your perspective using voice commands or the capture button. Understanding the recording limits can help you plan your recordings and avoid unexpected interruptions.
What is the maximum video recording length?
The maximum length of a single video recorded on VIVE Eagle is 10 minutes. Once the maximum duration is reached, recording stops automatically and the video is saved.
What is the default video recording length?
By default, videos recorded with VIVE Eagle are limited to 3 minutes.
You can change the default recording duration in VIVE Connect:
- Connect VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
- Go to Settings > Media.
- Select Video duration.
- Choose the duration you want to use.
What happens if the battery is low during recording?
If VIVE Eagle detects that the battery is becoming critically low while recording, it automatically notifies you, stops the recording, and saves the video file to help prevent data loss.
What happens if storage space runs out?
If available storage becomes too low during a recording, VIVE Eagle automatically notifies you, stops recording, and saves the video that has already been captured.
How much storage does VIVE Eagle have?
VIVE Eagle includes 32 GB of internal storage for photos and videos. Captured media remains stored on the glasses until you import it to your phone through VIVE Connect.
To help ensure sufficient space for new recordings, regularly import your media to your phone.
