Custom AI actions let you define your own AI prompts and launch them quickly from the AI button on your VIVE Eagle. Instead of manually entering the same request every time, you can save it as a custom action and assign it to a single press or double press of the AI button.
What are custom AI actions?
A custom AI action is a personalized instruction that tells VIVE AI what to do when you press the AI button on your VIVE Eagle. After creating a custom action, you can assign it to the AI button for quick access.
For example, you can create custom actions for tasks you perform frequently and launch them without having to manually enter the same request each time. The action runs according to the instructions you saved in VIVE Connect.
Before you begin
Make sure your VIVE Eagle is connected to the VIVE Connect app before creating or managing custom AI actions.
Create a custom AI action
- Connect your VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
- Open the AI button settings in VIVE Connect.
- You can access the settings from the main settings area.
- You can also go to Settings > Gestures > AI button.
- Select Press once or Press twice.
- Tap Custom.
- On the New action screen:
- Enter a name for the custom action in Name.
- Enter the instruction you want VIVE AI to perform in Action.
- Tap Save.
Your custom action is now available and can be assigned to the selected AI button gesture.
