Manage custom AI actions for the VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses using VIVE Connect. Assign, edit, and delete personalized AI button actions for faster access to frequently used AI tasks on VIVE Eagle smart glasses.

Custom AI actions let you create personalized prompts and assign them to the AI button on your VIVE Eagle. Once assigned, pressing the AI button can immediately trigger a specific AI task without needing to manually enter the prompt each time.

You can use custom AI actions to save frequently used AI requests and quickly access them from your VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses through the VIVE Connect app.

Before you begin

Before creating or managing custom AI actions, make sure:

  • Your VIVE Eagle is paired with and connected to the VIVE Connect app.
  • Your glasses are powered on and connected through VIVE Connect.

What are custom AI actions?

A custom AI action is a saved instruction that tells VIVE AI what to do when the assigned AI button gesture is used. Custom actions can be assigned to either:

  • Press once
  • Press twice

on the AI button.

For example, instead of opening VIVE AI and entering the same prompt repeatedly, you can save the prompt as a custom action and launch it directly from the AI button.

Assign a custom AI action to the AI button

After creating a custom action, you can assign it to the AI button:

  1. Connect your VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
  2. Open the AI button settings.
  3. Select Press once or Press twice.
  4. Choose Custom.
  5. If multiple custom actions are available, select the one you want to use.

Once assigned, pressing the AI button with the selected gesture launches the saved custom action.

Edit a custom AI action

You can update the name or action details of an existing custom AI action.

  1. Connect your VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
  2. Open the AI button settings.
  3. Select Press once or Press twice, then open the Custom actions list.
  4. Locate the action you want to change and select View details.
  5. Edit the action information.
  6. Select Save.

Delete a custom AI action

If you no longer need a custom action, you can remove it.

  1. Connect your VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
  2. Open the AI button settings.
  3. Select Press once or Press twice, then open the Custom actions list.
  4. Select View details for the action you want to remove.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. Confirm the deletion.
