Answer phone calls with VIVE Eagle

Learn how to answer incoming phone calls, adjust call volume, and manage caller notifications on VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses when connected to your phone through VIVE Connect.

When your VIVE Eagle receives an incoming phone call, you can answer and manage the call directly from the glasses using the touchpad, allowing for a hands-free calling experience. VIVE Eagle must be connected to your phone to receive and manage calls.

Before you start

Make sure:

• Your VIVE Eagle is paired with your phone through VIVE Connect.
• Your glasses are connected to your phone.
• The phone call is being received on the connected phone.

Answer an incoming call

When a call comes in, use the touchpad on VIVE Eagle:

1. Wait for the incoming call notification.
2. Tap the touchpad once to answer the call.

End or reject a call

Use the touchpad to end an active call or reject an incoming call:

• Double-tap the touchpad to end a call.
• Double-tap the touchpad to reject an incoming call.

Adjust call volume

During a call, use the touchpad to change the speaker volume:

• Swipe forward to increase the volume.
• Swipe backward to decrease the volume.

Recognize an incoming call

The status LED on VIVE Eagle helps indicate when a call is being received.

• The status LED blinks white once every second when there is an incoming call.

Have VIVE Eagle announce the caller's name

If the caller is saved in your phone's contacts, VIVE Eagle can announce the caller's name during incoming calls. This feature requires VIVE Connect to have permission to access your contacts and call history.

Android

1. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings.
2. Find your VIVE Eagle device.
3. Make sure VIVE Connect has permission to access contacts and call history. If your glasses appear twice in the device list, enable the permission for both entries.

iPhone

1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Select your VIVE Eagle device.
3. Make sure Sync Contacts is turned on and the relevant contact-sharing options are enabled.

Troubleshooting LINE calls on iPhone

If you can't answer incoming LINE calls using VIVE Eagle on an iPhone:

1. Open the LINE app.
2. Go to Home.
3. Tap the settings icon.
4. Tap Calls.
5. Make sure Integrated calling is turned on.
