Learn how to identify low battery indicators, charging status lights, and battery-related warnings on VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses so you can keep your smart glasses powered and ready to use.
If your VIVE Eagle smart glasses have a low battery, the status LED provides visual alerts to help you recognize the battery condition and take appropriate action. Understanding these indicators can help prevent unexpected shutdowns and connectivity issues.
Where to find the status LED
The status LED is located on the inner right side of the VIVE Eagle glasses. It communicates power, connection, charging, and system status through different colors and blinking patterns.
Low battery indicator
When the battery level becomes low, the status LED:
- Blinks red twice to indicate a low battery condition.
This warning means the battery should be charged soon to avoid interruptions while using the glasses.
Battery too low to power on
If the battery has become critically low, the status LED:
- Blinks red slowly and continuously while charging to indicate that the battery is too low for the glasses to power on.
In this situation, allow the glasses to charge for a period of time before attempting to turn them on.
Low battery and connection problems
A very low battery can also affect connectivity. When this occurs, the status LED:
- Blinks red continuously to indicate a failed connection due to low battery.
If you see this indicator, charge the glasses and then try connecting them again.
Understanding charging status indicators
While charging VIVE Eagle, the status LED shows the current charging state:
| LED behavior | Color | Meaning |
| Solid | Pink | Charging (glasses not worn) |
| Fades in then turns off | Pink | Charging (glasses worn) |
| Solid | White | Fully charged (glasses not worn) |
| Fades in then turns off | White | Fully charged (glasses worn) |
These indicators can help confirm whether charging is in progress or complete.
How to charge VIVE Eagle
To charge the glasses:
- Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to a USB charger that provides at least 4.5 watts of output.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the charging connector on the glasses.
- Check the status LED to verify that charging has started.
Troubleshooting battery-related indicators
If you repeatedly receive low battery warnings:
- Make sure the charging cable is securely connected.
- Allow the glasses enough time to charge before use.
- Verify that the charger provides sufficient power output.
- Confirm that the status LED shows a charging indicator while connected to power.
