Learn how to control music and other audio playback using touchpad gestures on VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses. Use simple taps and swipes to play, pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume without reaching for your phone.
The touchpad on VIVE Eagle lets you control media playback directly from the glasses. While listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, or other supported audio on your connected phone, you can use simple touch gestures to play, pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.
Before you begin
Make sure:
- Your VIVE Eagle is turned on.
- Your glasses are connected to your phone.
- Media is currently playing or available through an app on your phone.
Media playback gestures
Use the following gestures on the VIVE Eagle touchpad to control media playback:

| Skip to the next track | Double tap |
| Return to the previous track | Triple tap |
| Increase volume | Swipe forward |
| Decrease volume | Swipe backward |
Play or pause audio
To play or pause the current audio:
- Tap the touchpad once.
This gesture toggles between playing and pausing the current media.
Skip to the next track
To move to the next song, episode, or track:
- Double tap the touchpad.
Return to the previous track
To go back to the previous song or track:
- Triple tap the touchpad.
Adjust the volume
To change the playback volume:
- Swipe forward on the touchpad to increase volume.
- Swipe backward on the touchpad to decrease volume.
If volume changes do not seem to work
Some Android phones may not synchronize their media volume with VIVE Eagle correctly. If swiping the touchpad does not increase or decrease volume as expected:
- Open your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Look for Device volume sync or Media volume sync.
- Turn the setting on if it is available.
- If the issue continues, adjust the volume directly from your phone.
