Learn how to import photos and videos from the VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses to the VIVE Connect app on your phone, including requirements and import behavior.
You can import photos and videos captured with VIVE Eagle to the VIVE Connect app on your phone. Once imported, your media is available in the VIVE Connect gallery, where you can manage and view your content.
Before you begin
Before importing media, make sure:
- Your VIVE Eagle is paired with and connected to VIVE Connect.
- Your phone has an active connection to the glasses through VIVE Connect.
- If your phone is connected to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, disconnect from it before importing media.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi is enabled on the phone.
Import photos and videos
- Connect your VIVE Eagle to VIVE Connect.
- Open the media area in VIVE Connect. If the glasses contain photos or videos that have not yet been imported, a notification appears at the top of the screen.
- Tap Import.
- VIVE Connect imports your photos and videos based on your current media import settings.
What happens after import?
Imported photos and videos are stored in the VIVE Connect gallery by default.
By default, imported media is saved only within VIVE Connect. If the app is uninstalled or its cache is cleared, media stored only in the VIVE Connect gallery can be removed.
To keep an additional copy in your phone's photo library, enable Save a copy when importing in the VIVE Connect media settings.
Important notes
- Photos and videos captured with VIVE Eagle are stored on the glasses until they are imported to your phone through VIVE Connect.
- VIVE Eagle includes 32 GB of internal storage. Importing media regularly helps ensure there is always enough space available for new captures.
- Before unpairing VIVE Eagle or switching to a new phone, import all important media to avoid losing access to files stored on the glasses.
