Learn how to interpret battery and charging status LEDs on VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses, including charging progress, full-charge states, low-battery warnings, and charging errors.
The status LED on VIVE Eagle communicates battery and charging information through different colors and light patterns. Understanding these indicators can help you quickly determine whether your glasses are charging correctly, fully charged, or need attention.
Where is the battery status LED?
The status LED is located on the inner right side of the VIVE Eagle glasses. It uses specific colors and lighting behaviors to indicate battery and charging status.
Battery and charging LED indicators
Fully charged (glasses not worn)
LED behavior: Solid white
Meaning: The battery is fully charged while the glasses are not being worn.
Fully charged (glasses worn)
LED behavior: White light fades in and then turns off
Meaning: The battery is fully charged while the glasses are being worn.
Charging (glasses not worn)
LED behavior: Solid pink
Meaning: The glasses are actively charging while not being worn.
Charging (glasses worn)
LED behavior: Pink light fades in and then turns off
Meaning: The glasses are actively charging while being worn.
Battery too low to power on
LED behavior: Slow, continuous red blinking
Meaning: The battery level is extremely low and does not have enough power to start the glasses. Continue charging until the battery has recovered sufficiently.
Low battery warning
LED behavior: Red light blinks twice
Meaning: The battery level is low and should be charged soon.
Charging error
LED behavior: Red light blinks twice
Meaning: A charging-related error has occurred. Check the charging cable, charger, and charging connection, then try charging again.
Charging VIVE Eagle
To charge VIVE Eagle:
- Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to a USB charger with an output of at least 4.5 watts.
- Connect the magnetic charging connector to the charging connector on the left temple of the glasses.
- Monitor the status LED to confirm charging progress.
Notes
- When the glasses are fully charged and not being worn, the status LED turns solid white.
- The charging connector is reversible and can be attached in either direction.
- You can continue using VIVE Eagle while it is charging.
What if the LED keeps blinking red?
A slow, continuous red blink indicates that the battery is too low to power on the glasses. Allow VIVE Eagle to charge for a period of time and then try turning it on again.
If the glasses still do not turn on after charging and the status LED continues pulsing red, follow the troubleshooting steps provided for VIVE Eagle battery and power issues.
