VIVE AI Notes can convert voice recordings captured with VIVE Eagle into text transcripts. After a recording has been transcribed, you can review the transcript in VIVE Connect and use it as the basis for additional AI-powered features such as summaries.
How transcription works
After recording audio with VIVE Eagle, you can use VIVE AI Notes in the VIVE Connect app to create a transcript of the recording. During the transcription process, you'll be asked to choose the language spoken in the recording before starting transcription.
Before you begin
Keep the following in mind before transcribing a recording:
- Voice recordings can include voice notes, meetings, and face-to-face conversations recorded with VIVE Eagle.
- Recordings must already exist in your voice recordings list before they can be transcribed.
- VIVE AI Notes supports multiple transcription languages.
- First-time users of VIVE AI Notes automatically receive free transcription minutes. These minutes are consumed based on the length of the recording being transcribed.
How to transcribe a recording
- Open VIVE Connect on your phone.
- On the VIVE AI screen, tap Voice recordings.
- Select the recording you want to transcribe.
- Tap Transcript.
- Select the transcription language.
- Tap Transcribe.
After processing is complete, the transcript is associated with the selected recording and can be viewed from the voice recording details in VIVE Connect.
Tips for best results
To help improve transcription quality:
- Select the language that matches the primary language spoken in the recording.
- Speak clearly when recording voice notes, meetings, or conversations.
- Make sure people speaking during a conversation are near the glasses so their voices can be captured more clearly.
- Verify that VIVE Eagle is connected to VIVE Connect when creating recordings intended for transcription.
