Rename voice recording files created with VIVE AI Notes on VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses using the VIVE Connect app, making recordings easier to identify and organize later.
If you have multiple voice recordings, renaming them can make it easier to find the correct meeting, conversation, or voice note later. You can rename any voice recording stored in VIVE Connect after it has been recorded with VIVE Eagle.
Rename a voice recording
- Open the VIVE Connect app on your phone.
- Go to the VIVE AI screen.
- Tap Voice recordings.
- Tap the recording you want to rename.
- Tap the 3-dots icon, then tap Rename.
- Enter a new name for the recording.
- Tap Confirm.
The recording will be updated with the new name and will appear under that name in your list of voice recordings.
Tips for naming recordings
Choose a name that helps you identify the content of the recording at a glance. For example:
- Team meeting
- Project discussion
- Interview notes
- Training session
- Personal voice memo
Using descriptive names can make it easier to locate recordings when reviewing, transcribing, summarizing, sharing, or managing them later in VIVE Connect. Voice recordings are managed from the same Voice recordings area used for transcription, AI summaries, sharing, and deletion.
